RCLA is proud to be leading the restoration of the New Orleans Lakefront Airport Terminal Building to its original Art Deco Grandeur. The building was built in the early 1930’s by Artisans and Master Craftsmen during the Works Progress Administration Period. Heavily damaged during Hurricane Katrina, the terminal building is now being stripped of the concrete panel cladding that entombed this historically significant structure. This project involves the complete restoration for this extensively damaged, historically significant building. Includes a complete interior finish and partial structure repairs and total exterior repairs.
