This Neo-Classical 5 story building houses all of the various departments of the Jefferson Parish District Attorneys office. Special features included an integrated card access security and voice evacuation fire alarm system, and special systems monitoring of all public records and inter-department circulation. Other features include a mock courtroom, multi-purpose training room, law research library, and sequestered grand jury suite. Separate public and staff circulation systems provide additional security. This building was designed as an emergency command center, with second floor switch gear, telephone and data system rooms, and elevated emergency generator.
