Winner of the esteemed American Concrete Institute’s Award of Excellence for 2003 and the prestigious Louisiana Contractor’s Best Public Building Project and Award of Excellence for 2003. This project includes 14 Courtrooms, Judges Chambers, Administrative Offices, District Attorney’s Office, Clerk of Court, Purchasing, Election, Civil, Criminal, and Land Record departments. Site work included public plazas and parking for over 800 vehicles. Separate entrances and circulation pathways were provided for general public and defendant safety. This building is designed as a emergency command center for the parish during disaster recovery.
