The Sheriff desired an inviting structure with a strong public presence as the focal point to the entry of their future Law Enforcement Campus on I-12. This contemporary design is shaped by the client’s program and responsiveness to the site’s natural amenities. The copper accent wall serves as a solar screen shading the lobby from the western sun. This 24 hr facility is the Sheriff’s command center during natural disasters and incorporates security and circulation systems necessary for the Parish’s Law Enforcement and Tax Collection daily operations.
