RCLC provided complete Civil Engineering Design, Construction Engineering and Observation for this project that consisted of the conversion of an existing rest area near the Tchefuncte River to a major interchange from I-12, including an underpass to connect two large developments. Work items included new embankments, asphalt pavement, drainage structures, steel sheet pile bulkhead, new traffic signalization, sequence of construction, traffic detouring and lane closures of I-12 using temporary barrier rails and approved traffic control plans.
